WLTP-DTP Subgroup Additional Pollutants VTF-Meeting WLTP-DTP-AP, Mörsch/Astorga Setup #1: using 1 CLD –determination of dilution air NO concentration prior to engine start from diluted gas (no NOx- converter) –modal measurement in NO mode from diluted exhaust (no NOx-converter) –switch to NOx mode after completion of driving cycle and prior to bag analysis –bag anysis in NOx mode (NOx-converter active) –correct NO and NOx for dilution air background –NO2 concentration is calculated as difference of NOx – NO –Calculate NO2-mass using density K and kPa –apply NOx-correction factor (as for NOx) Guidelines for Measurement of NO2

WLTP-DTP Subgroup Additional Pollutants VTF-Meeting WLTP-DTP-AP, Mörsch/Astorga Setup #2: using 2 CLDs –CLD1: determination of dilution air NO concentration prior to engine start from diluted gas (no NOx- converter) –CLD1: modal measurement in NO mode from diluted exhaust (no NOx-converter) –CLD2: bag anysis in NOx mode (NOx-converter active) –correct NO and NOx for dilution air background –NO2 is calculated as difference of NOx – NO –Calculate NO2-mass using density K and kPa –apply NOx-correction factor (as for NOx) Guidelines for Measurement of NO2

WLTP-DTP Subgroup Additional Pollutants VTF-Meeting WLTP-DTP-AP, Mörsch/Astorga Setup #3: using 1 UVRAS or QCL –determination of dilution air NO2 concentration prior to engine start from diluted gas with UVRAS or QCL (no NOx-converter) –modal measurement of NO2 from diluted exhaust with UVRAS or QCL (no NOx-converter) –NO2 concentration is calculated from modal measurement –correct NO2 for dilution air background –Calculate NO2-mass using density K and kPa –apply NOx-correction factor (as for NOx) Guidelines for Measurement of NO2
