2 Take the butterfly pattern and fold on its LINE OF SYMMETRY. Open it back up and paint on one side of the fold (ONLY), using whatever patterns you desire. While the paint is wet, fold on the previous fold and see what happens. You should have identical points of reflection on both sides.

BLOCK 1 – Using your knowledge of butterflies and symmetry, put together a butterfly and glue it here. BLOCK 2 – Set up the butterfly exactly the same as in Block 1, but turn it clockwise 90 o and glue it here. BLOCK 3 – Set up the butterfly exactly the same as in Block 1, but flip it over the horizontal line and glue it here. BLOCK 4 – Set up the butterfly exactly the same as in Block 1, but slide it and glue it here.
