DISTINCTIONS  CIE is fully supported by fees collected from licensed institutions (no General Revenue)  Licensed institutions receive no state subsidy  Independent institutions respond quickly to business and industry training needs

SOME INSTITUTIONAL FACTS  Over 900 licensed institutions  369 degree institutions (88% accredited)  552 non-degree schools (26% accredited)  Current enrollment of over 350,000 students   Approximately 8,000 licensed programs  Over 140 institutions participate in Workforce Development as training providers
