Today’s Agenda: Learn by Example This Hands-On Workshop uses examples to teach how to solve common data analysis problems Creating new data Finding information in data, Reading and combining data from diverse sources.

In the first example we are using a dataset of surveys on media usage collected in the Great Plains states. Our client is interested in targeting information to Native Americans. The client wants to know how frequently various types of media are used and whether there are any demographic differences in the types of media used.
