ISTEP Overview *Sample questions will be shown at the The purpose of the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress Plus (ISTEP+) program is to measure student achievement in the subject areas of English/Language Arts and Math. Science is assessed in grades 4 and 6. In particular, ISTEP+ reports student achievement based on current Indiana State Standards. *Sample questions will be shown at the end of the presentation.*

IREAD-3 Overview Indiana Reading Evaluation And Determination (IREAD) Assessment IREAD-3 , based on Indiana Academic Standards, is a summative assessment that measures foundational reading standards through grade three.

IREAD-3 Overview All questions are multiple choice and will be taken in paper/pencil format. Word Analysis: Beginning, Middle, and Ending Sounds Word Analysis: Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homographs Word Analysis: Prefixes and Suffixes Word Analysis: Context Clues Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension
