Kurds

You are a representative of Kurdistan. You have been given two minutes to talk in front of representatives from Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran; you should explain to these representatives why you believe there should be a recognised state of Kurdistan and why it is important that you achieve autonomy in all regions.

You should include geographical, historical, economic, social and cultural reasons for Kurdish separatism. The representatives will obviously be thinking about the acts of terrorism by the PKK in Turkey and so it may be a good idea to remind the representatives of some of the good things that have been happening in Iraq (see news article) urdistan-next-dubai-iraq. urdistan-next-dubai-iraq You will be peer assessed on your presentation.
