FORCE FIELD ANALYSIS Decrease the time needed for the request process. Increase the quality of employee output. Increase employee satisfaction. Decrease searching time for applicable courses. Field Supervisors, Supervisors, and Sr.Supervisors want to be included in the request approval. Departments do not want to change their old style of offering courses. More money will be spend for the new system. Lack of communication between departments.

CAUSE AND EFFECT DIAGRAM Long time needed to Search and request for courses MoneyDepartments People Process System of offering courses is not sufficient Field Supervisor, Supervisor, and Sr.Supervisor want to be included in the request approval Lack of communication between departments Budget constrain Shortage

Solution There should be one website (Example: Training website) for all courses in the company, and each department should post its own courses in that website. The website should be well organized and easy to use. Requesting of courses should be done online by the employee him self (which will require his immediate supervisor approval only) through the Training website. Implementing the system of KFUPM (for searching, adding, and dropping courses) in our company.
