Sometimes we get ourselves in a mess and rather than sort it out we run.

Physically: He was in a barren, rocky wasteland in the middle of nowhere Socially: He was separated from his family and fleeing for his life. Materially: He had nothing but the clothes he stood in. Spiritually: He was distant from God and alone without hope.

‘I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go … I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you’ Gen 28:15

‘Don’t panic. I’m with you. there’s no need to fear for I am your God. I’ll give you strength, I’ll help you, I’ll hold you steady, I’ll keep a firm grip on you. The Message: Isaiah 41:10 ‘Never will I leave you.’ Hebrews. 13:5

Let God use what we have and be willing to be guided by Him in our everyday lives.
