N A T I O N A L A S S O C I A T I O N O F I N T E R C O L L E G I A T E A T H L E T I C S Academic Eligibility: Entering Freshman Requirements Article V, Section C, Item 2 Freshmen must meet 2 out of 3 requirements:  2.0 Cumulative GPA  Finish in top half of the student’s graduating class  Minimum standardized test scores of:  18 on the ACT; or  860 on the SAT (Math & Reading only) Early determination are available after a student’s 6 th and/or 7 th semesters of high school.

N A T I O N A L A S S O C I A T I O N O F I N T E R C O L L E G I A T E A T H L E T I C S Academic Eligibility: Entering Freshman Requirements Article V, Section C, Item 2 A student is considered an entering freshman until he/she has identified with a post-secondary institution of higher education for at least 2 semesters/3 quarters. EXCEPTION: An entering freshman shall identify with an institution during the student’s first two semester terms or first three quarter terms by representing an institution in an intercollegiate contest or enrolling in 12 or more credit hours with a minimum of nine credit hours at the NAIA member institution as reported by the institution’s registrar on an official transcript based on the institution’s official census date.

N A T I O N A L A S S O C I A T I O N O F I N T E R C O L L E G I A T E A T H L E T I C S Academic Eligibility: Freshman Exceptions Home Schooled Students:  Test score requirement: 20 ACT / 950 SAT; OR  Individualized review by the NAIA Home School Committee Students with Learning Disabilities:  Meet entering freshman eligibility requirements; OR  Individualized review by the LDAC and NEC

N A T I O N A L A S S O C I A T I O N O F I N T E R C O L L E G I A T E A T H L E T I C S Academic Eligibility: 2 nd Term Freshman To participate in the student’s second TOA, the student must:  Have met entering freshman requirements (2 of 3); and  Have earned at least 9 credits prior to the second term  Cannot count pre-identification hours Quarter School Note: To participate in the student’s third quarter TOA, the student must have earned 24 credits over the students first 2 quarter TOAs. Article V, Section C, Item 5
