PowerPoint vs Classroom Presenter

PowerPoint and Tablet PCs You can ink on slides in or out of a presentation You can save the ink

Classroom Presenter To locate it:

Options with CP3 Stand Alone Option:

Stand Alone Option Great as a virtual whiteboard You can save the slides Easy access to pens Can be used as a PowerPoint slide shower too –Go to: File  Open Deck –You can show any ppt you want but the animations and sound will not work You can insert blank slides Seems a bit cluttered (currently)

Stand Alone Option

Networked Option As the teacher, set up your program first

Networked Option--Students Students should see your classroom. If not, have them close the program and try again or have them try Adv. Conn. Options tab might work too.

Networked Option Info gets transmitted to students’ tablets –Digital ink –PowerPoint Slides too You can “Force Linked Navigation” Students can submit work to you

Which is Better? PPT or CP? Neither…depends on your use. CP is better as a virtual whiteboard PPT is better for presentations unless you want to transmit those slides to students and have them ink them You can also collect info using CP
