SHAWN WOODARD

CRITICAL FACTORS WHEN EVALUATING TALENT 1.CHARACTER An outstanding student-athlete who maintained a 2.94 GPA at Shaw University 2.ABILITY TO LEARN FOOTBALL Started all 34 games he played in for Shaw University During his four years, Shawn played cornerback, punt returner, kick returner and wide receiver 3.PLAYMAKING ABILITY Recorded at least two interceptions in four games Recorded four interceptions in a one game, twice Scored touchdowns by: interception, punt return and kick return 4.ATHLETIC ABILITY Has been named to numerous All-Conference, All-Region and All-American teams Potential Shaw Hall of Fame inductee 5.WORK HABITS Practices at all three phases of the game (offense, defense and special teams)

The following pages (4-9) are a comparative analysis of twelve cornerbacks drafted between the years of Shawn’s skills and numbers speak for themselves and he feels confident he will flourish at the professional level. With understanding all factors involved in the recruiting processes, we stayed with protocol and set the analysis to drafted players with similar statistics and from comparable programs. Even though these players are listed as cornerbacks in the NFL, fifty percent (50%) in the analysis played both safety and cornerback during their college career; which aided in comparing Shawn’s career statistics with theirs. All statistics were taken from “official” websites. Where there is a 0 indicates no statistics were found on that player for that category.

Ranked 2nd overall Recorded 24 and led the nation in 2003 Passes Defended

Ranked 2 nd overall Recorded 13 and led the nation in 2003 Interceptions

Ranked 3 rd overall Had a season high 21 returns in 2002 Kickoff Return Average

Thank you for your time and consideration. Given the opportunity, Shawn is assured he will make the most of it. We ask that you consider choosing him in the 2006 NFL Draft.
