Importance Of Exports

There are three Major Reasons Canada exports To pay for the things we import To keep our economy healthy. (Make money, create Jobs) To lower the price of Canadian made goods for Canadians (cheap to mass produce)

Canada trades more then goods, it also trades services; however, our service industry isn’t doing as well as our manufacturing industry. In 2004, Canada had a deficit of 13 billion, a large part coming from travel & transportation. There are more Canadian traveling to other countries then are coming to Canada. Plus the avg. Canadian spends more in other countries then the avg. visitor to Canada

Another portion of our service deficit comes from business services. We are also responsible for the deficit. For example Canadian television stations airing shows produced in America (big Bang Theory) American produced advertisement. (coke adds in a Canadian magazine )
