Internet Etiquette (Netiquette) By Sydney Burget

Rule #1……Keep Personal Information Private When ever you are on the internet you always want to be careful that you don’t give any personal information away. EX: ( Date of Birth, where you live, how old are you, where you go to school etc.) Also because there are ton of predators out on the internet just searching for little kids to abduct.

Rule #2 …. Obey Copy Right Laws. It is consider a law to follow the copy right law. If you don’t its considered stealing or plagiarism.

Rule #3….Beware of Cyber Bulling Cyber Bullying is increasing rapidly every year. Do not respond to anything that is threatening or rude and ignorant.

Rule #4…. Think Before Posting Before you post anything online look over it and think about if you should post it or not.If you post something that should not have been posted such as a rumor or something even worse can effect you later on in life.

Rule #5….Pay Attention to language issues. Always Make sure to use the proper language on the internet. Be sure to ignore all inappropriate language on the internet and don’t use inappropriate language yourself.
