 Review ALL Questions  Choose a recorder- both names on paper  TALK ABOUT THEM ALL! Choose 3 out of the 5 to respond to in writing…complete with textual support (quotes are best- paraphrase is okay)  PS: What the heck is author bias?

 Compare the perspectives on American identity presented in the two articles you have read.  Questions….tell me more.  Which more closely matches your own perception of America: the optimistic view of Friedman, or the concerned perspective of Steinbeck?
