It involves an analysis of the work environment, the economic issues, the trends, the existing competition. The trend of a strategic plan is to shape the future of the organisation, whether totally or partially.

Ensures consistency and continuity among those who carry out the goals. Focus on significant issues and challenges facing the club. Promotes teamwork and commitment to strategic issues.
