1 Timothy 6:11-12 11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

The Measure of a Man Measured by What He Flees From 1 Corinthians 6:18 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 10:14    14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

Ephesians 5:55 For this you know,[a] that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God

-Don’t chicken out on the fight! -A godly man is measured by what he fights for! There are some things that we ought to be willing to fight for in our generation. · Fight for our own personal identity as a man. · Fight the battle for personal holiness. · Fight the fight for our family. · Fight for some close godly friends. · Fight for a strong faith.

In Conclusion: -Fathers, it is time for us to be measured by what we flee from, follow after, and fight for!
