Learning context and environment The staff of a non-profit funding organization is interested in learning about the countries and geographic regions that received or are currently receiving funding what topics (arts, education, etc.) are funded identifying opportunities for collaboration thereby increasing impact in a region
Learning model To use data visualization and data mapping to present textual data in a way that is easier to understand To support collaborative learning
Learning goals Enable authentic learning by employing a data visualization tool that supports the staff’s daily work Provide a space for funders to share knowledge, ask questions and to collaborate Support project-based learning by giving staff the ability to learn with and from each other
