Meet Mrs. Cagle I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year! I love teaching first grade because each day is different and students are wonderfully loving and independent. I am a graduate of Wake Forest University and I am certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I love cheering on the Demon Deacs, playing tennis, and reading. Classroom Expectations Green = Great day! Yellow = Student received behavior reminders and had time-out in our classroom Red = Student continued to behave inappropriately and had time-out in another classroom. A daily behavior report can be found in students' planners. Please use the following key to understand your child's behavior: NextPrevious

Homework Homework notebooks will be sent home every Monday. All of the week’s homework will be included in the notebook. Have your child complete the week’s work at his or her own pace. All homework will be collected and checked on Fridays. NextPrevious

Home – School Communications Notes Important notes will be placed in the front pocket of your child’s agenda. It is labeled "Notes". Please check this pocket every day. If you need to send us a note, please put it in the agenda pocket. NextPrevious

Home – School Communications Tuesday Envelopes Your child’s work will be sent home every Tuesday. Please review the contents of the envelope, sign, and return it to school as soon as possible. NextPrevious

Home – School Communications Communication Reports You will receive 3 communication reports each quarter. Please sign the report and return it to school. The Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem We will go to The Children’s Museum of Winston Salem in May. Students will be engaged with activities involving animals and their habitats.
