When Breast exams should begin near the age of 20. Self breast exams are an excellent way to catch early signs of breast cancer. Prostate exams are recommended between the years of 35 and 85. Exams on the periphery of these years are usually innate.

How Often Self breast exams monthly. Mammograms and Clinical exams every 3 years after the age of 20 and yearly after the age of 40. Self prostate exams can begin as early as 35 years of age. After the age of 40 yearly prostate exams are recommended.

Who Breast exams are performed by nurses or physicians. Prostate exams are also performed by these medical professionals. However, both can be performed at home.
