On Monday it rained. Jake and Nate could not go out to play.

“I wish the rain would go away.” said Nate. The boys waited to see if the rain would stop.

“Let’s play with this train,” Nate said. “That’s a good idea,” said Jake. The boys made a track for the train.

The track was painted red. Jake and Nate plugged the train in but it did not work. The track was painted red. They plugged the train in but it did not work.

“What a pain!” Nate said. “Now what can we do?” Jake asked.

“Maybe we can make something with clay,” Nate said. “Making things with clay is fun!” Jake said.
