 Civil war lasted 40 years  Civil war was caused by disagreements amongst between the Northern and Southern forces.  Abraham Lincoln Created a lot of ways to give the Slaves some type of freedom.  Slavery was very inhumane even though it is still practiced today

 The Emancipation Proclamation  January 1, 1863  Basically gave the slaves a Chance to be treated equally  Freed more than 50,000 slaves  Gave Slaves rights allowing them to build a future.

 Orville and Wilbur Wright   Wright brothers the fathers of flight.  This inventions began an era of the most used type of air travel.
