Message to participants Design projects very good !  Followed closely a design cycle  Should be tested !!! complete cycle Scientific methods should be followed rigoroursly!  Special attention to test and results  No huge difference between junior and senior projects – development ?

Recommendations to Teachers and mentors Think of yourself as investigator Do science together  Get excited together  Don't stand back  Model good scientific questions  Take/ ask for time to look after students  Make resources available/ gear and material to be used  Generate critical questions

Recommendations to students Take enough time for projects Take initiative Ask questions Get support and equipment from school / professionals/ authorities /try to link with community Follow the recommended format for projects

Recommendations to organisers Start organisation early! Allow time for completion. Set clear deadlines and follow.
