WHAT IS SHOPPING ADDICTION ? SHOPPING ADDICTION IS ALSO KNOWN AS COMPULSIVE SHOPPING. PEOPLE WHO SHOP STILL THEY DROP AND RUN THEIR CREDIT CARDS UP TO LIMIT OFTEN HAVE A SHOPPING ADDICTION. COMPULSIVE SHOPPING OCCURS WHEN PEOPLE FEEL ANXIOUS, STRESSED AND DEPRESSED. THEY BELIEVE THAT IF THEY SHOP THEY FEEL BETTER.

CAUSES/PROBLEMS SHOPPING ADDICTION AFFECTS THE USER, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ACTUALLY, COMPULSIVE SHOPPING AND SPENDING MAKE A PERSON FEEL WORSE BECAUSE THE INCREASE FINANCIAL DEBT THE PERSON HAS OBTAINED FROM COMPULSIVE SHOPPING. BESIDES, SHOPPING AND SPENDING WILL NOT ASSURE MORE LOVE, OR HEAL THE HURTS, REGRETS, STRESS, AND THE PROBLEMS OF DAILY LIVING.

HOW TO PREVENT IT 1.MAKE LISTS BEFORE GOING TO THE STORE, BUY WHAT YOU NEED ONLY. 2.PAY FOR PURCHASE BY CASH, CHECK, DEBIT CARD. 3.DESTROY ALL CREDIT CARDS EXCEPT ONE TO BE USED FOR EMERGENCY ONLY. 4.AVOID DISCOUNT WAREHOUSES. ALLOCATE ONLY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CASH TO BE SPEND 5.WINDOW SHOPPING ONLY AFTER STORES HAVE CLOSED. IF YOU DO LOOK DURING THE DAY, LEAVE YOUR WALLET AT HOME. 6.DON’T WATCH TV SHOPPING CHANNELS.
