 Heavy machinery operators are always in demand for a variety of jobs, excavator operators or in high demand because excavators are used for a numerous amount of jobs. Good Grader operators are in real high demand, lots of people can operate a grader but not a lot are good at it. I would be expected to be working from 40 to 50 hours a week.

 I chose heavy machine operator because it’s a very good paying job, and I have always been interested in heavy machinery since I was young

 Im not going to schooling and wasting over 30,000 dollars to be a terrible machine operator im just going to go and work for my cousins company and since there a union I get paid while I get trained and they pay for my training.

 Starting would be about $25 and rising to about $40.50 in over 2 years  Annual salary not including time and half and double time is about $70,000 starting first year and going up by about 5,000 each year  There is always going be demand for heavy machinery operators.

 I would be working in an outdoor environment all year long, Clothing required would be steel toed boots, hard hat and reflector vest and usually camo or a flannel to fit in.

I would probably try and become a heavy machinery mechanic because I would still be able to work with heavy machinery. My second choice would probably be welding I have 4 uncles that are in welding and they make a crap load of money and I’m pretty good at welding so yea. My third choice would have to be construction manager cause I love telling people what to do and like seeing the finished product.
