STAGE 1: Problem Storming Exercise 1: Thinking backwards (10 min) Using the Environmental Issues Poster, brainstorm what will be the biggest environmental problems in: 20 years time… 10 years time… 5 years time…

Exercise 2: Why Why? (10 min) With each of the problems you’ve identified, ask ‘Why, Why’ to get to the root of the problem:

Exercise 3: MIEPP (10 min) Looking at the Environmental Issues poster, focus on one or two of the categories and brainstorm the key problems that arise Materials Information Equipment People Processes

STAGE 2: Solution Storming You now have lots of problems! Using the tables provided, start brainstorming business solutions to each of these problems Wacky ideas are good so don’t judge the ideas just yet- focus on QUANTITY!
