Now what??? 1.Choose a book. 2.Book Introduction. 3.Listen and watch student read. 4.Record behaviors on Observation Guide. 5.Recognize and compliment one thing the student did well. 6.Provide one teaching point based on what you observed. 7.Plan future teaching points/possible groups.

Gather materials and organize for reading observations and small group instruction (books, make copies of Observation Guides, anecdotal record forms).
