A CID RAIN By: Michael N, Jalen H., Raffy S., La’Mylo F., Ali A., Jalyne M.

T HE C LAIM Sources of Acid Rain should be regulated to prevent damage to earth, living, and Non living things

T HE P ROBLEM Due to human development and etc. The Sulfur dioxide levels are increases and it’s mixing gases in the air and as it evaporates into the atmosphere begins to fall with or in the rain

EXPLANATION Humans are impacting acid rain because we toss too many toxic chemical waste into the air, such as smoke from factories, vehicles, and even the average house hold.

T HE EXPERIMENT Our experiment was to test out how the acid rain can affect soil types. Plants are sucking up the acid rain and its killing them. Our experiment was to see what soil types can drain the most acid rain.

E XPERIMENT CONT. For our experiment we used gravel, sand, and dirt we drained vinegar through a funnel and the soils we recorded the left over fluids that drained through the soil types Gravel was the best to drain

R ESULTS OF THE EXPERIMENT

C ONCLUSION so In our conclusion of the experiment we conclude that soil types is mostly affected by acid rain

R ESPONSES We agree because our experiment and evidence shows how the claim can be proven We wanted to show how to deduce the effects of the of acid rain our hypothesis was correct
