The Lessons from Auschwitz Project ‘A unique four-part course offered by the Holocaust Educational Trust…a journey of learning and exploration about the history of the Holocaust and the world we live in.’

Why apply? Students and staff have all agreed this visit was a valuable and moving experience, whether you study History or not.

To Apply You need;  A valid passport  Availability on the following dates –Stage 1: Orientation seminar Tuesday 13 th October 3:00-7:00pm Newcastle –Stage 2: Visit to Poland Thursday 22 nd October Newcastle Airport –Stage 3: Follow-up Seminar Sunday 1 st November 1: pm Newcastle  Commitment to getting involved in the entire project which includes the seminars and the follow-up project as well as the one day trip to Poland.

Your application  On no more than 1 A4 side, explain; a) Why you would like to visit Auschwitz. b) Why we should pick you above everyone else. c) Any other information that you believe would support your application.
