World War II started in 1939 It was between Germany, Italy, Japan and “The Allies” History of WW II

The USA did note enter until 1941 after Japan attacked them They fought In North Africa, Europe and the Pacific They used battleships, guns, war planes and 2 atomic bombs USA enters the War with the Allies

The Allies invaded Normandy in 1944 (called D-Day) Germany surrendered in 1945 End of WW II in Europe

The war ended in the Pacific after the USA bombed Japan with an atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagaski End of War in the World
