Workshop objectives Role and nature of the evaluation – to gather evidence on the link between aid effectiveness and development results Review of methodology and core evaluation questions Dialogue on the ToR and scope for adaptation Clarification on the process – structures, implementation and timing

Main findings Highly interactive – resulting in a conducive environment for learning and for future peer exchange Opportunity to provide comments and obtain clarification on the scope of work, methodology, core questions Each country can now feel confident in leading an exercise relevant to its own needs and contributing to a consistent and high-quality global study Useful validation for the Core Team Some countries indicated readiness to move to the next stage (establishing country reference group etc)
