Name: ______________ HW 3 Phonics Letters: j, y Fluency- Write all the letters on this page out of order. Time your child saying each sound. Repeat two more times and record time. Try to get faster each time. Dictate the following sentences slowly to your child. Have him/her write each sentence neatly on this paper and draw a picture to match. “The bug sat on the red mat.” “A fat pig went in the mud.” “The fox can get the ham.” Write one letter per index card. Use the cards to construct CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant) Write at least 8 words you created and draw a picture for each. ///////////////// //////////////////////////////// // /////////////////
