Movement of Products from Pacific Rim - how is it going to impact the US/CAN pallet industry?

IMPACT – DO YOU AGREE We count on the production of millions of standard pallets yearly to fulfill our commitment required by our consumers! Off shore pallets are commonly ground or stripped to accommodate our demand for boards! Recycling industry are counting on ISPM 15 foreign pallets to fulfill their demand to customers who ship off shore!

IMPACT If we believe headlines and government think tanks as we must, the import of non- standard ISPM 15 pallets from Asia [China- India +] may double or triple in the near future. What do we do with non-standard ISPM 15 wood packaging?

IMPACT Common ASIAN sizes –1050 x 1050 or inches –1100 x 1100 or What do we do with millions of board we cannot use???

Answer I do not have the answer but we can, if we combine our resources and weight, lobby our government to contact all importing companies to require all product shipped into Canada and USA to arrive on 48 x 40 standard ISPM 15 certified pallets. Does any one else have an solution to this problem??
