The SMILE Program

The SMILE Program is... An academic enrichment and college recruitment program for historically underrepresented and other educationally underserved/disadvantaged students in Oregon A collaboration between Oregon State University and public school districts A program of activities that influence student attitudes and behaviors about learning and staying in school

The SMILE Program The Purpose of SMILE To increase the numbers of historically under- represented and other educationally under- served students who: Graduate from high school Pursue higher education and prepare for careers in EngineeringMathematics ScienceHealth Profession Teaching
