W HAT P UFFINS L OOK L IKE The Atlantic puffin has feathers that work as a life jacket. They also have red and gray beak. Puffins have orange feet.

W HAT THEY LOOK LIKE They have wings but can not fly very high like other birds. Their feathers are black and white. Their faces do not look like other birds.

W HERE THEY LIVE Atlantic puffins live near the North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. They are usually found on the sea coast. They live in big groups to keep warm. Puffins know when they are close to land (when traveling).

W HAT T HEY E AT The Atlantic puffin eats grass and small fish. They have no predators.

W HAT T HEY E AT They have a specific diet depending on where they live and the climate change in temperature and weather. There is not much to the puffin food chain.
