Concept: What does it mean to live a holy life?

Grade 8: Chapter 1 “All are called to holiness.” Holiness is a participation in God’s goodness and a response to God’s love by the way we live. Throughout Jesus’ public ministry, his work among the people, he showed that all human life should be respected and treasured.

Grade 8: Chapter 1 Apprentice is a pupil who learns a specific trade under the guidance of a master teacher. **Jesus is our master teacher. Kingdom of God is the power of God’s love active in our lives and in our world.

Grade 8: Chapter 1 How did John Bosco live his life as an apprentice of Jesus? Write a paragraph explaining how he followed the teachings of Jesus and helped to build up the Kingdom of God on earth. Use the handout to support your answer.
