Bauer Media Bauer Media owns multiple popular music magazines including Kerrang!, Mojo and Q. Kerrang! Genres- Rock and Punk Kerrang! Is a mainstream magazine with a circulation of 30,300. Kerrang!’s readers are usually younger ageing from about Mojo Genres- Rock (Mostly Classic Rock) Mojo is a mainstream magazine with a circulation of 79,345. The magazine is for audiences that are interested in rock but mainly classical rock. Mojo’s readers are usually older than 30 as the content has a lot of bands/artists are old from the 80s for example. Q Do not a have a main genre – they go for wide range of popular artists. Q is a mainstream magazine with a circulation of 52,781. Their magazine is for older readers.

Q Magazine are known for being the ‘Ultimate Guide’ for modern music and access’ music’s ‘biggest names’. They ‘employ the world’s best music writers and photographers’. They have a website, social media channels and have a partnership with Absolute Radio. They reach one million music fans each month. Q’s readers don’t interest one genre but many such as rock, indie and pop. Q offer events, Digital copies of their magazines and Q Online.

NME’s readers are more older and mature music listeners with the average age at 34. TimeIncUK are a conglomerate publisher who produce many magazines including NME and Uncut. Uncut Genres- Americana, Rock, Alternative Country NME is a mainstream magazine with a circulation of 56,223. NME’s readers are on average about 37 year old and 86% of their readers are male.

New Musical Express NME readers have a strong relationship with the magazine and trust the magazine. 63% of NME's readers are male and the average age of readers is 25. NME have four social media sites; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr with a high number of 660k followers on twitter. "A third download music at least once a week (53% NME 16-24’s)" showing that they know that younger readers are interested in downloading music. "58% say that adverts for bands/new music releases influence how they discover new music, rising to 68% among NME 16-24’s" NME know their readers and what they like/dislike in their magazines.
