A growing movement Just some of the supporters….

Pledges “advise and support young mothers in supported accommodation” “continue to ensure that tobacco prevention is an important issue for the community youth work sector” “provide support and publicity for the implementation of the smoke free cars legislation” “starting to look at smoke-free play parks and are suggesting… support to local councils in this regard” “we will raise issues around the impact tobacco use has on child poverty” “We shall consider becoming a Tobacco-Free School” “Host series of symposium events relevant to tobacco control” “We will undertake a review of our policy and practice to see what could be changed or improved” “Arrange training for our support workers on the topic of second-hand smoke”

Opportunities for Supporters Charter images and logos can be used to publicise tobacco related activities and initiatives. Charter publications can be downloaded from the website and organisations can adapt them if they wish. Hard copies of Charter publications are available free of charge. Organisations can publicise their work and learn what is happening through the Charter webpages. Organisations can recommend staff and service users for a Charter Award. Ongoing support from ASH Scotland.
