A Cultural Tradition Called “Fiesta San Antonio” J. Paul

Fiesta San Antonio is a cultural tradition celebrated by people.

Fiesta means PARTY!!

The tradition of Fiesta San Antonio began or has its origins in the state of Texas.

The purpose of the tradition is to honor the battles of The Alamo and San Jacinto.

To celebrate people have a parade and throw flowers at each other. It is called “The Battle of Flowers Parade”.

People make, wear, and throw flowers to celebrate the parade.

What can we see at Fiesta?

We see floats.

We see colorful clothes.

We eat great food!

We see members of the royal court. We see kings, queens, princes, princesses, dukes, and duchesses.

We see really funny animals too!

We hear great music and see wonderful dancers!

We see carnival rides and games, too!

VIVA FIESTA!
