AMF - Anonymised Micro Files Anonymised, top or generalised coding used Arrangements via ISSDA under Statistics Act Do not need to be an Officer of Statistics however there are terms and conditions
RMF - Research Micro File(s) Anonymised but risk of disclosure through indirect means maybe significant Primarily used at CSO for business statistics – Can contain a CSO business identifier – Generally data does not go off site – Outputs typically reviewed by CSO staff before being disseminated – Access managed by CSO under Statistics Act RMFs exist for QNHS, SILC and GUI but... More difficult to access than AMFs
