Graduation Requirements 230 Credits (1 semester class=5 credits) 4 years English (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) 2 years Math (Algebra 1 and Geometry) 3 years Social Science 2 years Science (1 year Biological & 1 year Physical) 2 years Foreign Language 1 year Visual and Performing Arts 1 Semester Life Skills 1 Semester Health 2 Years Physical Education 1 Year of Applied Technology 50 Elective Credits Pass CAHSEE Pass Fitness Test
Applied Technology & Computer Literacy Applied Technology: (only graduation requirement) –Can be fulfilled by taking a course listed on the back of the planning sheet. OR.. –By taking an A-G course at AP or advanced level (3 rd or 4 th year math, science, or foreign language) Computer Literacy (Non-course requirement) –Can be fulfilled by taking a computer literacy test that can be given before graduation. OR.. - Can be fulfilled by taking a Computer course in middle school
Grades and Credit C is for COLLEGE! “D” grades = 5 credits – Credit for high school graduation only –“D” grades need to be made up for college admission. “F” grades = 0 credits – If you fail a required graduation course you MUST make it up!

F 1 year Visual and Performing Art G 1 year College Preparatory Elective UC Schools only allow courses to be repeated 1 time to make up a D or F grade Minimum GPA to apply to UC schools is 3.0 (subject to change) Minimum GPA to apply to Cal States is 2.0 C grades cannot be made-up/repeated
