 Recall that last week we studied: Putting on Christ and Wearing Him Everywhere.  We examined the importance of imitating Christ: Col. 3:9-10; Rom. 6:3-7; Eph. 4:21-24; Rom. 8:29  Among our brethren  Among our family  Among those in the world 2

 To put on the devil the Christian must first take of Christ! 2 Tim. 4:10  Light and darkness are incompatible: 2 Cor. 6:14; Acts 26:18; 1 Thess. 5:5; Jn. 8:12  We cannot be for and against the Lord at the same time: Matt. 12:30; Lk. 11:17; Rev. 3:15-16  Our love for the Lord, or lack thereof, is measured by our deeds: Jn. 3:19; Jas. 1:27  A Christian stepping back into the world is an ugly picture! 2 Pet. 2:

 Wives who’ve put on the devil are:  Not providers, physically or spiritually: Gen. 2:18; Job 2:9  Don’t portray traits of a godly mother: 1 Tim. 5:14; Prov. 31:10-31  A terror to their husband and children: Prov. 21:9; 27:15 9 Putting On the Devil and Wearing Him Everywhere

 Children who’ve put on the devil:  Disobey and disrespect parents: Eph. 6:1-3; Col. 3:20; Deut. 21:18-21  Don’t receive instruction from parents: Prov. 1:8-9; 13:1  Run with the wrong crowd: 1 Cor. 15:33; Prov. 13:20  Try to fit in with the world: Jas. 4:4 10 Putting On the Devil and Wearing Him Everywhere

 A home wearing the devil is:  Never hospitable: Heb. 13:2; Rom. 12:13  Neglect training their children: Prov. 22:6  Not spiritually focused as a family: Josh. 24:15 11 Putting On the Devil and Wearing Him Everywhere

 What does it mean? It means…  Your love and loyalty are to the things of the world: 1 Jn. 2:15-17  You are an enemy of God: Jas. 4:4  You are unprepared to meet God: 2 Cor. 5:10  You are a hypocrite: Titus 1:16; Matt. 23:14; 24:45-51  You are doing untold damage to the cause of Christ: 2 Pet. 2:2 12 Putting On the Devil and Wearing Him Everywhere

13  Are you clothed with the garments of Satan?!  If so, cast them off!  Put God first in your life and everything else will fall into place! Rom. 8:28
