How to respond to a topic prompt

Introduction Question: What are you going to say in a persuasive speech?

Introduction  Persuasive Speech Topic sentence First reason + example Second reason + example Reason why some people have opposite opinion Conclusion

Introduction Persuasive Speech  You want your audience to DO something or change their beliefs after you give your speech.  Give reasons/examples that help the audience DO something or change their beliefs.  Between 1-3 minutes long.  You know the topic and can prepare many days before you give your speech.  You give your speech in front of the class. Topic Prompt  You are NOT asking your audience to do something at the end of your speech. You are just giving your opinion.  Give reasons/examples that helps the listener know your opinion.  Exactly 1 minute long. Not more and not less.  You don’t know the topic and you have only 5 minutes to prepare AND give your speech.  You record your speech into the audio recorder.
