Who and When? o In the 700s Muslims front Central Asia are going to invaded India and break it up into small kingdoms. o Around 1000 they had fought so bad that the Turks were able to come in and rule them. o It wasn’t until the 1500s that they were able to unite.

What happens? o The people native to were mostly Hindu while the Mughals who were taking over were Muslim. o The two groups did not get along and fought for centuries.

Who Unites them? o At 11 years old Babur took over a kingdom in Uzbekistan and Tajikstan but then was kicked out by the Turks. o So he built an army and took it back over and started the Mughal Empire. o However, he died shortly after. o His son was not a good ruler and lost everything. o Once he dies his son Akbar becomes the next leader.
