AT SCHOOL, TEACHERS: ➢ Work diligently to teach Ohio’s Learning Standards ➢ Creatively teach & model critical thinking and problem solving skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies ➢ Collaborate with each other and parents to address differentiated student needs (to reach ALL learners) ➢ Continually check student progress to ensure students are learning (before, during, & after instruction) It Takes Teamwork

AT HOME, PARENTS: ➢ Routinely read-together with your student and discuss what you read (daily is best) ➢ Creatively model critical thinking and problem solving skills in everyday, real world situations (through daily situations i.e. Trips to the grocery store, household responsibilities) ➢ Provide opportunities for your child to interact with engaging learning activities (both online and hands- on) It Takes Teamwork

ADMINISTRATORS: ➢ Routinely meet with and support teachers to monitor student progress ➢ Support teachers with creating and implementing standards-based lessons and assessments ➢ Provide opportunities for professional development to improve instruction ➢ Actively communicate with parents about school initiatives and student needs ➢ Promote parent involvement It Takes Teamwork
