Old Bailey is the name of the Central Criminal Court in London

 The Old Bailey is the Central Criminal Court in England,  a court building in central London,  it houses the Crown Court.  The Crown Court sitting at the Central Criminal Court deals with major criminal cases from Greater London (exceptionally, from other parts of England).  It stands on Old Bailey, a road which follows the line of the City's fortified wall (or bailey), and gives the court its popular name. bailey

Expressions from Unit 7 -the difference is that -to do preparatory work -witnesses should be made available -to have a regular work day -papers for today’s trial -in the middle of a three-week trial -to learn the ways (court procedure) -the client is in custody awaiting trial -to go into court -the judge and the jury are in the court -the evidence continues
