Innovation Intelligence ® Section 18 Set Creation & Solver Interface

Copyright © 2012 Altair Engineering, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential. All rights reserved. Sets Creation Various types of sets can be created. Nodes – Nodes are grouped as a set. Shell Elem – Shell elements are grouped as a set. Solid Elem Face – The shell elements from the selected solid elements are grouped as a set. Solid Elem – Selected Solid elements are grouped as a set. RBE – Rigid Bar Elements are grouped as a set.

These sets can be created from volume mesh bodies. Nastran/Optistruct ASET – This option is used to create Nastran/OptiStruct ASET / ASET1.

Copyright © 2012 Altair Engineering, Inc. Proprietary and Confidential. All rights reserved. Sets Creation Node / Shell element / Solid element sets can be created from contact pairs. Contact pairs between the selected Master and Slave bodies within the specified tolerance will be found out and sets will be created. Sets can be transferred from source to destination body based on CAD ID (or) Persistent ID.

Solvers can be spawned directly from SimLab and the analysis results are loaded into SimLab. Output requests can be specified. Node and Elements Ids can be written either in ascending or descending order.
