Personal Development is learning about how our body transforms and develops as we grow up. Health is learning about what is healthy for our body and how to take care of it to stay fit. Physical Education is getting involved in sports and physical activity to keep our mind and body healthy.
To help kids learn about themselves, their bodies and educate them in: Growth and development (e.g. body image & sexual education) Interpersonal relationships (e.g. bullying) Personal health choices (e.g. nutrition & drug education) Safe living (e.g. road safety & child protection) Games, sports and dance (i.e. fundamental movement skills) Active lifestyle (i.e. gender issues & physical activity) - K-6 PDHPE Syllabus
