Take out a sheet of paper and put your correct heading then begin Use Map A on your desk to help you this week. Remember to answer in complete sentences. 1. What the name of this town? 2. What is the symbol for hospital? 3. Is the factory east or west of the river?

Take out your Snappy SS; Skip a line and put today’s date (complete sentences) 4. Is the hospital north or south of the school? 5. How many bridges are in this town? 6. People in this town can travel on streets or on railroad. How else can they travel?

Take out your Snappy SS; Skip a line and put today’s date 7. What is the distance between the two bridges on the river? 8. About how far is it from the railroad station to the school? You need: Textbook, workbook, map, and spiral. When you finish with Snappy S.S. read pages 24 &25 again.

Take out your Snappy SS; Skip a line and put today’s date 9. Where could people work in this town? 10. What can people do to take care of this community?

Answers 7. The distance between the two bridges on the river is about 5-6 miles. 8. It is about 4-5 miles from the railroad station to school.

Answers 9. People could work at the school, the railroad station, or at the factory. (any of these are acceptable) 10. To take care of this community, people might keep it clean and safe as well as work to prevent air and water pollution.
