Study Materials: Cases and Readings Each topic has a case –Real situation –Discuss in teams –Tells a story: metaphor Cases are the “work” of the class –In teams –Learning objective – get the “point” of the case Each topic has one or more readings –Multiple perspectives - conflicting views –“Moral” message Readings give ideas –Read and reflect –Discuss and compare –Learning objective – get ideas that are useful

Two “Deliverables” Memorandum  Due at beginning of first class  Case analysis  Put yourself into the situation  Develop an “action” perspective Examination  Written essay  Select topic from short list  Online – three hours  Study guide beforehand
