Application of Euler Angles in Materials Science

On page 2 of our article in Physical Review B, we write: “Full crystallographic orientation data of the domains are obtained by Electron BackScattering Diffraction (EBSD). The orientation of a domain is expressed by three Euler angles ,  and  which describe the relationship between sample reference coordinate x, y, and z and crystallographic coordinate a, b, and c.
